In today's era, many new job opportunities are opened. Apart from that, there are also many job seekers who are actively adding skills, experience, and looking for new jobs. This causes job portal platforms to be needed, one of which is LinkenIn. LinkedIn is a job portal platform that connects companies and job seekers. To attract the company's attention, these job seekers usually do personal branding.
The first thing I did on this project was to do a research to see the problems faced by users. Therefore, there are two types of research that I did.
Google Form Survey & Interview
I distributed one questionnaire to 10 respondents to conduct a screening beforehand regarding the use of online platforms as a means of personal branding. Following are the results of the survey :
10 out of 11 respondents are users who are doing personal branding on online media platforms. 90.9% of users use the LinkedIn mobile app/website for personal branding.

Based on these results and percentages, I conducted user interviews with 3 respondents and benchmarked against competitor applications, namely Kalibrr, Jobstreet, and Behance.
Benchmarking

I did benchmarking against 3 mobile apps, namely Kalibrr, JobStreet, and Behance. I compared the flow of users in uploading personal branding content and profile interface. I use figma in doing benchmarking analysis. Based on the analysis, it can be determined that:
1. The upload flow and profile interface of the Behance application can be adapted to the LinkedIn flow and interface because it can reduce user activities in scrolling.
2. The complete content of the Kalibrr application can be adapted to the content of personal branding in using the LinkedIn application.
3. The visual hierarchy in JobStreet cards is good to use so that the final display is not too crowded.
Interview
I conducted user interviews with 3 respondents. The respondent has the following criteria :
1. Male/Female 20-25 years old
2. Currently doing personal branding through LinkedIn
3. Have filled out a Google Form survey.
